Dedicated Server Program Details

I.S.MAX offers two dedicated server program options; Server Purchase Option or Server Lease Option.

The Server Purchase Option requires more capitol expense from you upfront because you purchase the server(s) required to operate your list management system, but this option provides greater long-term savings to you. You may purchase your server(s) from our preferred manufacturer or a manufacturer of your choice. (We require all servers to run Linux, Apache, and meet our hardware specifications.)

The Server Lease Option requires less upfront capitol expense from you, but I.S.MAX monthly service rates will be higher than if you purchase your servers outright.

With either option, your MAX e-Mailer mailing list system and list(s) reside on a server(s) of their own. We provide the hardware (for lease option), *operating system, and place it on the Internet. Since you are not sharing the system with other users, you can use all of the hardware capability of the server(s) for your own processes. The dedicated server option is a cost affective solution for customers who mail large volumes of messages per month, run/host many separate lists, wish to resell mailing list services, or have other specialized needs that may require a sever of their own.

*You may use our MAX e-Mailer list management software, or you may use other proprietary list management software of your choice. (I.S.MAX software technical support is limited and system performance may vary if not using the MAX e-Mailer list management software. 3rd party list management software cost is not included in any cost estimates from I.S.MAX. Message throughput statistics are based on the MAX e-Mailer software system.)
